How To Get Inside Big IT companies????????

Every year In India, Lacs of people do Engineering. Of which few thousands are able to secure
job in engineering background. Rest other students start switching their domain to management side (i.e. go for MBA) or towards any other non technical job (for eg. BPO, Banking, Sales etc. )

But what is the Problem? Why they are not getting Job?? Is there any problem in the Vacancies? Do India do not have enough Jobs for Engineers?

The Answer is what all of us Knows. India is pretty rich in Jobs. The problem is that the students do not have skills. They do appear in interviews, But without preparations.
Obviously, the student with great technical knowledge and are from some top colleges automatically get placed in companies like GOOGLE, MICROSFT etc.

But what about the students who are not from top colleges and are with less technical knowledge?

Is the life end for them??

No, they have much more opportunities than those from top colleges.
They have the companies like INFOSYS, TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTUR, CTS etc.
They can target themselves for these companies, as for fresher these companies do not demand any strong technical skills. These companies do take a fresher and train them for their projects.

And mean it they have best training procedure.

These students who have less technical skills can target these companies to land as a fresher because once they complete the training of these companies. They will be at the same level as the one who are from the top colleges.

And most important thing is that they do not have any limits in hiring. If they find appropriate skills in the candidate they will hire.

But then why do not all Engineering students get placed??
The reason is they do not prepare well for their interviews. But! Why so? Why don't they prepare well?

The reason is they do not have appropriate guidance. To help such students, As 1 yr ago even I was among them I am writing few tips. Those who are interested or who feel have a same condition like me can proceed to read this blog.

Procedure of Big IT Companies Like - INFOSYS, TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, CTS etc..

These companies have a fixed interview procedure.
All of these above companies take around 2 - 4 interview rounds. The count depends upon the
company to company.

In first round they check the aptitude of individual. For this round, they have the fixed set of
questions which they repeat again and again.
So my personal advice would be to practice around 5 to 6 previous yr questions of these
companies. As they have an automated system that generate random questions from around 200-300 questions.

In the second round they take simple technical interview. In this round the biggest mistake a fresher does is: he/she writes bulk of skills in his/her resume to spark in front of interviewer.
But this is not a good habit at all. More the skills an interviewer will see, more he have to ask from the fresher. So write only 1 or at max 2 skills. And prepare well only for that skill.
As even the interviewer knows that as a fresher you do not have that much technical knowledge. So he will ask the question from that topic.

In the third round (HR Round): They will just check your attitude.

Tips:
  • Be Optimistic.
  • Agree for all the terms and conditions they say as you are fresher and your focus should be in getting inside the IT world.
  • Do not do buttering.
  • Be positive.
